The vineyards of Nantes

Accommodation in the heart of the vineyards

Tourism in the vineyards

The Nantes vineyards, cradle of the Muscadet PDO, is a rich and varied land that you can explore thanks to our ideally located accommodation. Just outside Nantes, on the south bank of the Loire, the vineyards stretch over 27 communes and offer visitors a wide variety of landscapes, from the rolling hills around the Sèvre to the banks of the Loire. The criss-crossing of several rivers (the Sèvre Nantaise and the Goulaine) has created marshes and hedgerows that contrast with the surrounding vineyards, much to our delight. During your stay in the vineyards of Nantes, don't miss the Italian-inspired town of Clisson, which also hosts the annual Hellfest festival. Le Voyage Nantes takes you to the heart of the vineyards, with new works of art to be discovered regularly; since 2 October 2020, visitors to Pont Caffino have had the immense pleasure of being able to admire the Maine valley perched on le Porte-vue, a contemporary work by architect Emmanuel Ritz.

The winegrowers of the Vignoble Nantais will welcome you for a Muscadet or Gros-Plant tasting, and to find out more, visit the Musée du Vignoble Nantais: after your visit, these AOCs will no longer hold any secrets for you. The Passeport Vacances des Gîtes de France Loire Atlantique gives you access to special rates at the Musée and at a partner winery: all you have to do is book your accommodation.A multitude of activities awaits you in the heart of the Nantes vineyards: discover our ideas for days out and travel inspiration.
