Cancelling a trip a few days before departure can be very costly. You’re paying for a holiday you won’t be able to enjoy; in fact, if you cancel at the last minute, you’ll lose the entire cost of the trip.

Not taking out cancellation insurance is a false economy!

Please note : this insurance can only be taken out for a booking made with thebooking agency either by telephone or online (via the internet). This insurance must be taken out at the time of booking.

What to do in the event of cancellation?

  • Notify Gîtes de France® Loire-Atlantique by email.
    You must inform Gîtes de France® Loire-Atlantique of your cancellation or interruption by email as soon as the event occurs at: info@gites-de-france-44.fr. Gîtes de France® Loire-Atlantique will acknowledge receipt and provide you with a statement of account.

  • If you have taken out MEETCH holiday insurance, policy no. 5942 (with supporting documents) or policy no.5941 (without supporting documents), you may be reimbursed for these penalties without any excess (excluding the insurance premium and booking fees). MEETCH will process the refund after reviewing your claim.
