Legendia parc

 

 

Located in Frossay, between Nantes and Pornic, Legendia Parc is ranked among the 10 best parks in France by Trip Advisor. The 33-hectare park is themed around fairytales and legends. In this park, you can admire more than 500 animals from 60 different species : wolves, bears, lynx, coatis, polar foxes, otters….

 

As well as the animal trails, several live shows are on offer. They retrace the history of the legends of the Pays de Retz and are accessible to all.

The programme varies according to the period. In summer, you can enjoy a magnificent night-time show. In autumn, you can enjoy original Halloween-themed shows. And in Winter, young and old alike can look forward to our festive Christmas shows together.

Animal Experience: if contact with animals is your passion, the park offers you the chance to spend a morning in the shoes of an animal handler. The main tasks will be cleaning the enclosures and feeding the animals.

 

Accommodation: two Lodges, located at the heart of the Wolf packs, will welcome you for an unusual stay.

Planète sauvage

 

 

Planète Sauvage is a safari-themed wildlife park located 15 minutes from Nantes, Port-Saint-Père. The park is divided into five worlds:

- La cité marine allows you to watch à a dolphin show and learn more about this species.

- The bush trail is a space where you will be immersed in the African continent: meerkats, royal cranes and ibises await you! Along a trail with footbridges, try your hand at the djembe and learn more about these animals with the help of Kirikou. At the end of the trail, free-roaming Madagascar lizards will greet you.

- The safari trail is the park's signature route. With your own car or 4x4, drive as close as possible to 150 African species on 10 kilometres of track: giraffes, lions, elephants.... You won't be disappointed!

- The jungle temple will take you to new heights! On a 12-metre-high suspension bridge, you'll set off to see macaques, antelopes, geese...

- The Inca jungle trail is a must!

- The Inca Trail: this will take you into the lands of Latin America. Samiris in the wild await you, as do parrots, pink flamingos and alpacas.

It is also possible in this park to immerse yourself in the skin of a lord for a day.

Zoo de la boissière du doré

 

 

The Zoo de la boissière du doré is located in Boissière-du-Doré, on the border between the Loire-Atlantique and Maine-et-Loire departments. Opened in 1984 (1984), the park made its mark by creating areas where primates could live in semi-freedom. The park invests little in the reproduction of endangered species such as lion tamarins, panthers and Asiatic lions. Dedicated areas are coming into being, such as a South American volcano or African plains.

For the park's 30th anniversary, the zoo is witnessing the birth of two rhinoceroses, a first in France. The zoo focuses on animal welfare and immersion: since 2016, you have been able to sleep in African lodges at giraffe level. The boissière du doré zoo is also part of the environmental démarche and European surveying programmes in order to protect biodiversity;.

At the boissère du doré zoo, you'll have the opportunity to meet all types of animals, from lions to amphibians, birds and reptiles. Among the activities offered by the zoo, you'll find:

The valley of the korrigans

 

 

The vallée des korrigans is a leisure park located in the heart of the Savenay lake leisure park, in the north-west of the department. It offers a wide range of activities for children aged 3 and over. The leisure park has 6 areas:

- La plaine de jeux des korrigans is a play area with more than 30 games accessible from age 3. Acrobranche course, perched huts with an exceptional view of the lake, treasure hunts, inflatable games, table football, there's something for everyone!

- The park also offers an acrobatic area with four levels of courses. The courses are fully secured and promise thrills and excitement! The accrobranche is accessible from the age of 7.

- Laser tag is a non-impact laser game, the only difference being that it is played during the day.

- The archery tag is an archery area with foam tips. Accessible from age 8.

- Paintball is a game of team confrontation accessible from 14 years old.

- The warrior korrigan is an obstacle course in team accessible from 14 years old.
