Le Martin Pêcheur, a certified fishing gîte, is located next to the River Don and a fish pond, in the heart of the remarkable La Forge site, renowned for its flora and fauna (17 km of signposted footpaths). East-facing terrace accessible from the 1st floor + private enclosed garden with trees (300 m²) by the river opposite the gîte (5 m away). Fishing room (fridge/bin with aerator).

A native of the area, Nathalie will be able to point you in the right direction and explain the history of the site and its surroundings.
Manuel, a keen fisherman and administrator of the local AAPPMA, will be happy to give you information on the best spots. The area has a number of ponds nearby, renowned for their carnivorous fish (black bass, pike and pike-perch) as well as carp and whitefish. He can also give you details of the old construction techniques that he has mastered so well.
