For nearly 60 years, Gîtes de France has been committed to promoting the French countryside through tourism, by applying a quality charter, the essence of which is authenticated by the widely recognised Gîtes de France label.

Our Loire-Atlantique association has been welcoming you for nearly 50 years to a beautiful environment where you can combine all kinds of activities, whether sporting, cultural or gastronomic, to guarantee a truly memorable holiday.

Our proprietors will provide you with a "carte d'hôtes" booklet to help you discover our heritage. Our owners will welcome you in a friendly, family atmosphere.

Our Gîtes de France Loire-Atlantique association, made up of nearly 500 owners of gîtes and chambres d'hôtes, is committed to promoting the values of genuine hospitality, deeply rooted in the Loire-Atlantique region.The owners of Les gîtes de France are committed to sharing their love of the Loire-Atlantique region with you, and to making your holiday as easy as possible.

The association is dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of its guests. The work on quality, training and information for members is carried out within a rigorous framework, but always in an associative spirit, with the aim of ensuring your comfort and the quality of our accommodation, and therefore of your holidays.

Our activities are also part of a sustainable development approach and make a major contribution to the development of our rural area.

The Gîtes de France label ranking®

The Gîtes de France quality label guarantees you precise standards of comfort (in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 épis) and compliance with a national charter.

The Gîte classification:

1 épi : mini-oven or rôtissoire or grill, hob, pressure cooker, réfrigérateur, small électrom&e& nager (cafetière, blender, toaster, kettle), utensils for ménage and basic cleaning products, high chair and cot béA shower room and WC for up to 6 people, a second shower room for 7 people or more (one of which has independent access).

2 épis: in addition to or in place of 1 épi: washing machine for 4 persons or more, TV aerial, barbecue (unless prohibited by local law), bed linen and towels on request.

3 épis : in addition to or instead of 2 épis : independent access (semi-detached possible), private garden (or terrace) with garden furniture, private car parking space*, dishwasher for 4 people or more, oven and microwave, fridge;private washing machine, colour TV, telephone*, swimming pool service on request, two WCs for 7 people or more (one of which is separate), electric hairdryer.

4 épis: in addition to or instead of 3 épis: house of character, high-quality surroundings and decoration, dishwasher, food processor, electric washing machine for 6 people or more, flat-screen TV, hi-fi system, DVD player, library.

5 épis: in addition to or in place of the 4 épis: detached house with private garden or private access in a complex of exceptional character, private landscaped park or garden, private car parking space, provision of at least one leisure facility (tennis court, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.), sauna, jacuzzi, etc.), electric washing machine, Internet access, beds made up on arrival and towels provided; one shower room and WC up to 4 people, second shower room and WC (with independent access) from 5 people.

The Chambres d'Hôtes classification:

All chambres d'hôtes Gîtes de France are classified according to the architectural quality of the house, their surroundings, their degree of comfort, the decoration and their services, and reclassified at least once every 5 years. Whatever the classification, the owners will make every effort to ensure that you have a pleasant stay.

1 épi: single rooms.

2 épis: good comfort rooms, each with at least one shower room or private bathroom.

3 épis: very comfortable rooms, each with full private facilities (shower, bath, washbasin and WC).

4 épis: very comfortable rooms, each with full private facilities. They are housed in character residences in privileged surroundings. Additional services are often offered.

5 épis: rooms of exceptional comfort, parking in the property, park or landscaped garden, provision of at least one leisure facility (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, hammam, etc.), lounge area with flat-screen TV in each room, multi-jet shower or whirlpool bath, credit card payment.

City Break classification:

Comfort: dishwasher, functional kitchen including hob or gas hob, oven, microwave oven, crockery (plates, cups, cutlery, saucepans, pots and pans,....), coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender, pressure cooker or steam cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, washing-up utensils, hoover, basic cleaning products, fan (available on request and depending on the number of bedrooms), blankets or duvets, bolster and/or pillows, hair dryer;hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tumble dryer, high chair and cot; On request, flat-screen TV (56 cm minimum), hi-fi equipment, Internet access, Wi-Fi (if available). There is also a shower room (with shower) or bathroom (with bath) and WC for up to 6 people and a second shower room or bathroom and WC for 7 people or more. Sheets, towels and table linen are available (at extra cost or included in the rental price) and you can opt for the end-of-day cleaning service (at extra cost).

Premium: in addition to or instead of Comfort : built-in kitchen, high-tech oven (pyrolysis or fan assisted), food processor, large mattresses (160x200 or 90x200), one bathroom (bath) + separate WC for up to 5 people and a second bathroom for 5 people or more, equipped with heated towel rails. Beds will be made up on arrival and towels included in the rental price.

Luxury: in addition to or instead of Premium: wellness equipment (sauna, hammam, spa), the end-of-day swim is included in the rental price.

The Chambres d'Hôtes City Break classification (in town):

Comfort: kettle in each room with tea/coffee making facilities, one bottle of water per person, internet access, WiFi (if available), full bathroom facilities, private and communicating, hairdryer, bath mat, one towel and one bath sheet per person.

Premium: in addition to or in place of Comfort: flat-screen TV in each room, large mattresses (160x200 or 90x200), private WC, separate and connecting bathroom, multi-jet shower or whirlpool bath, heated towel rail, bathrobes.

Luxury: in addition to Premium: international channels, wellness equipment (sauna, hammam, spa...)

The Gîte d'Etape and Group classification:

All Gîtes de France group gîtes are classified according to their environment, level of comfort and services, and reclassified at least once every 5 years. They are systematically reviewed in the event of a dispute.
Whatever the classification, in some gîtes you will find additional facilities or services indicated in the description.

1 room: living room, dining area, tent area or activity room.

2 épis: accessible téléphone, storage room, storeroom.

3 épis: adjoining landscaped or equipped grounds, library, board games or musical instruments; dishwasher and washing machine, bed linen and towels provided on request.
